Stacey has been an athlete since she was a young child. She played soccer and basketball throughout her childhood, high school, and college years. After college, she played women’s semi-professional tackle football for 8 years. In addition to being an athlete, Stacey wanted to give back to the younger generations and coached girls basketball for 4 years and boys football for 2 years. When she was introduced to CrossFit in 2010, Stacey realized that it takes more than just exercise to be an athlete. Although she had tried many different types of gyms and workout routines, nothing matched the intensity and structure of CrossFit. Stacey started to see positive results and decided in 2011 to commit herself to her health and fitness. Throughout the next few years, Stacey spent extra time in and out of the box learning and studying the movements of CrossFit to better her technique. In Janury 2016, Stacey became CrossFit level 1 certified and has been coaching ever since.
